John L. Connolly
Chief Executive Officer
John Connolly oversees the executive management of Anexinet. John joined Anexinet and assumed his role of CEO of the company after Anexinet and Virtus Partners, LLC merged in April 2008. At the time of the merger, John was CEO of Virtus. He brings to his role at Anexinet more than 30 years of experience in executive management, finance, sales and technology.
John and a partner founded Virtus, a management and technology consulting firm focused on applying business practices to the IT function, in 2001. Virtus’ revenue grew steadily since the company’s inception, from zero to more than $31 million in 2007. Prior to founding Virtus, John was President of Araila Technology Partners, LP. Before he joined Araila, John held various key management roles at several companies, including Actium Corporation, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, Actium won many business awards including Inc. 500 recognition and ‘Fast Growth 100’ awards in Philadelphia.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.
Diego F. Calderin
President
Diego oversees the day-to-day operations and executive management of Anexinet. Under his direction, Anexinet has experienced substantial growth and recognition with several prestigious industry and regional business awards. In 2005, he was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® in the Emerging Business category for the Greater Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania region. A co-founder and the first Chief Technology Officer of Anexinet, he authored the Company's foundational S.A.F.E-T²® project delivery model for successfully providing value-driven solutions.
Diego came to Anexinet after founding and serving as principal of Acatar Consulting Group, a regional systems integration firm specializing in database re-purposing, electronic commerce and digital content integration solutions. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Managing Director at Actium/Modis, where he was responsible for a $25 million regional business unit offering professional technology services and vendor-certified education for the Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware markets. Diego began his professional career in 1984 with GE's Space Systems Division in Valley Forge, PA, where he held several positions in the fields of software and systems engineering, critical technologies and project methods.
Diego holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from La Salle University and a Master of Engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
Kenneth S. Foreman
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Ken brings more than 25 years of financial, operational and leadership experience to his roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Anexinet. Ken’s responsibilities include crafting and executing strategies designed to expedite the company’s growth and increase revenue and profitability.
Ken came to Anexinet from Virtus; he had joined that company in October 2007 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working at Virtus, Ken was the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Princeton eCom, a venture-backed software and services company. During his tenure at Princeton eCom, Ken was responsible for raising $30 million of equity, debt and bank financing and led efforts to reduce operating expenses, eventually resulting in the sale of the business for $200 million. Prior to Princeton eCom, Ken was Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Actium, a $100 million IT services company and presided over significant growth in revenue and valuation. He is the founder of Foreman Consulting Group, Inc., an executive consultancy that provides executive leadership, capital market and managed growth services, and he sits on the Board of a strategy company.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University.
