Anexinet Extends Service-Oriented Architecture and Portal Solutions into Washington DC Marketplace
National Education Association among first of locally based organizations to access Anexinet's enterprise solutions and technology partnerships
Washington, D.C. - March 29, 2005 - Anexinet Corporation, a leading regional solutions provider based in Philadelphia and recent recipient of a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) certification, today announced the opening of its metropolitan Washington, D.C. office in Bethesda, Maryland, to support Washington area businesses, associations and government agencies. The company's expansion also includes the opening of a Near-Site™ Development Center where Anexinet is helping to develop an Enterprise Portal solution based on Service-Oriented Architecture for the National Education Association (NEA).
"Anexinet's best practices expertise and unique approach to enterprise software solutions have delivered tremendous business value to some of the top companies in the Philadelphia and New York City markets," said Diego Calderin, president of Anexinet. "Our new Washington area presence expands opportunities for locally based organizations to conveniently access Anexinet's services and technology partnerships."
Anexinet specializes in Service-Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Portals, Content Management and Enterprise Project Management solutions that simplify complex business processes, strengthen IT organizations and provide competitive advantage. The company's innovative services portfolio leverages expertise with J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) and Microsoft.NET to reduce application development and costly programming requirements by creating standardized, reusable modular components, published as loosely coupled Web Services for maximum interoperability.
"The NEA and other DC-based organizations are embracing our enterprise strategies and applications based on our proven success in other markets," adds Mike Bromley, newly appointed vice president for Anexinet's D.C. region. "Our PMO-focused project delivery model and near-site development center provide added comfort that each project will be delivered on-time, and within budget."
Anexinet uses its internally developed Program Management Office (PMO), an Enterprise Project Management solution based on Microsoft Project Server 2003, to share with clients real-time visibility, insight and control of projects from planning to closure. PMO improves coordination and collaboration during deployment of services from business strategy management and IT architecture to business process management and software implementation. The company also offers its proven PMO solution as a deliverable to clients seeking to implement their own enterprise project management.
Near-Site Development Centers-which are dedicated workspaces and systems within minutes of clients' locations-represent one of several differentiating components of Anexinet's software delivery model. Near-Site Centers enable project teams to design, develop, and test solutions without disrupting current systems and organization. Clients gain new technology solutions at greater convenience, reduced cost and faster time-to-market.
Anexinet is an authorized reseller of the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform and affords clients comprehensive access to BEA WebLogic software licenses, education, and professional services. Anexinet is also a Microsoft Certified Partner and an Avectra Certified Implementation Partner for member-based organizations.
Anexinet's new office is located at 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 700, Bethesda, MD, a direct stop off the Washington Metro Red Line.
